Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences, São Paulo State University (UNESP). Coordinator of the Laboratory of Geochemistry and Isotopes (LABOGEO), Leader of the Coordination Team of the Center for Applied Natural Sciences UNESPetro, and Coordinator of the Human Resources Training Program of the Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels PRH-40/UNESP. Member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Society of Geochemistry (SBGq). He holds a BSc in Geology from the University of São Paulo, an MSc in Geosciences from São Paulo State University, and a PhD in Sciences from the Geochemistry and Geotectonics Program at the Institute of Geosciences, University of São Paulo, including a research internship at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (France). His research focuses on isotopic and elemental geochemistry applied to sedimentary basins, with emphasis on paleoenvironmental reconstructions, inter- and extra-basinal correlations, and biogeochemical cycles in the geological record. He has professional experience in the petroleum sector at Petrobras Research and Development Center and in environmental consulting, applying geochemistry and sedimentology to management plans and sediment dispersion monitoring in areas impacted by tailings dam failures.
