Researcher with a degree in Biomedicine (2003) and a specialization in Reproductive and Developmental Biology (2005) from the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP). I earned my Master's degree (2010), PhD (2015), and postdoctoral studies (2021) in Sciences from UNIFESP, focusing on the reproductive effects of nicotine exposure during intrauterine development and lactation.I worked as a biomedical scientist at the Federal University of Sao Paulo from 2004 to 2018, participating in research projects in the area of reproduction. Since 2018, I have been an adjunct professor in the Department of Morphology and Genetics at UNIFESP, Sao Paulo campus, teaching Developmental Biology/Embryology to undergraduate students in the health field.Actively involved in teaching and administrative activities such as series coordination, course committee and teaching staff in the Speech therapy and Nursing courses at Unifesp.I advise students on extension projects, final papers, scientific initiation, and postgraduation (master's and doctoral students) through the Postgraduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology at UNIFESP and the Sapientiae Institute, in the research area of fertility, embryonic development, and reproductive toxicology. The main focus of my research has been evaluating the transgenerational effects of nicotine, through studies on epigenetic modifications in placentas, fetuses, and ovaries of first- and second-generation rats after maternal exposure.
