Vinicius Augustus Merino da Silva

My professional journey began at the esteemed Bauru School of Dentistry - University of São Paulo (FOB-USP) in 2013. Throughout my academic path, I had a rewarding experience as an exchange student through AUCANI - USP, playing roles as a visiting student and research assistant at the renowned Schulich School Of Medicine Dentistry, Western University, in Ontario, Canada, in 2015. This chapter extended until 2016 when I was officially hired by the foreign institution for a period of 6 months.Following my graduation in 2017, I ventured into specialization, undertaking a residency in Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics at the Hospital for Rehabilitation of Craniofacial Anomalies of USP (HRAC-USP). This experience solidified my dedication, love, and care for the rehabilitation of patients with Craniofacial Anomalies. In 2019, I commenced my Master's at USP-Bauru and the Specialization in Orthodontics, following the Capelozza Philosophy, both successfully completed in 2021. During the Master's, I embarked on an intriguing journey into the digital realm, learning about the IN OFFICE production of aesthetic aligners, from digital oral scanning acquisition to the printing and cutting of aligners.In the same year, I reached even greater heights by enrolling in the Doctorate in Orthodontics at FOB - USP, showcasing my commitment to research and the constant pursuit of professional improvement. In 2022, I added to my journey the challenge of the specialization course in Business Management (MBA) at USP Esalq, aiming to acquire strategic and managerial skills. To conclude my business education, 2023 marked my participation in the renowned EMPRETEC program, refining my entrepreneurial skills and solidifying my innovative vision in the market.Currently, I serve as the CEO at ALIGNER4U, a company focused on the production of aesthetic orthodontic appliances. Masterfully balancing my roles in the professional, academic, and clinical landscapes, I also share my knowledge as a professor and coordinator of the Preventive and Interceptive Orthodontics course - Prof. Omar Gabriel da Silva Filho, in addition to contributing to various specialization courses in the field.This journey, filled with challenges and triumphs, reflects my dedication to excellence, innovation, and continuous professional evolution.
