He received the B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Polytechnic School (EPN), Ecuador (2012), the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil in 2017 and 2021, respectively. In 2019, he did an internship at the University of Pennsylvania, USA, working as a research assistant. He was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Rochester in the department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, mainly working in sediment transport. Currently, he is a postdoctoral associate at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he is working in the field of all solid-state batteries. His research interests lie in the fields of granular matter, fluidized beds, sediment transport, turbulent flows, in both lab experiments, CFD, and DEM simulations. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
