Veterinarian - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (2009). Master (2013), Doctor (2017) in Aquaculture - Caunesp, Aquaculture Center of the São Paulo State University, Unesp and postdoctoral researcher at the same institution (2019). He is currently a researcher at the pathobiology laboratory of IMARPE (Peruvian Sea Institute) and at the "Universidad Científica del Sur". He has experience in the following areas: veterinary pathology, pathology of aquatic organisms, climate change, use of natural products in aquaculture, studies on inflammation in fish, production of ornamental fish and clinical diagnosis of diseases in fish. He has developed work and projects in the following areas: toxicity in aquatic organisms, fish parasitology, fish nutrition, fish anatomy and physiology. Actively involved in different research projects: Study on acute inflammation in fish, effects of climate change on the health of aquatic organisms, interaction between hormones and cytokines in tropical fish, development of vaccines for fish diseases, among others.
