CV Lattes ORCID

Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Geociências (IGC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Currently, she is a PhD Student in Earth Sciences at the University of Toronto (UofT), in Canada. She graduated in Geology in 2017 from the University of São Paulo (USP) where she also concluded her MSc in Metamorphic Petrology. During her period at the USP, she developed research working with the metamorphism of metapelites on the Ribeira Belt. The project combined techniques such as thermodynamic modelling, petrochronology, and detrital zircon provenance to better understand the tectonic evolution of the area. She also did an internship during her MSc at the University of Portsmouth, UK where she worked with in situ monazite dating with LA-ICP-MS. All her research in Brazil was financed by the São Paulo State Research Foundation. In her PhD, she develops research aiming to better understand the entrapment of melt inclusions in olivine through experimental petrology, stable isotope geochemistry and modelling. She also has experience with field geology and geological mapping, being a teacher assistant on mapping courses at both USP and UofT. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
