Luísa Gonçalves is a professor at the School of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (FAU-UFRJ), in the Department of Architectural Design (DPA). She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from EAU-UFF (2012), a Master's degree from PROARQ-FAU/UFRJ (2015, Capes scholarship) and a PhD from FAU-USP (2020, Fapesp scholarship). She completed a doctorate in Paris (Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture). Her research deals with the relationship between architecture, infrastructure and the metropolis through mobility equipment, metro stations and intermodal terminals; it crosses the scales of urban planning, urban projects and building design. She was a professor of Urban Design at Unesp and of Architectural Design at Unilasalle. He has worked on architecture and urban planning projects at various scales in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, with emphasis on the development of projects for São Paulo Metro stations in the areas of design, visual communication, urbanism and landscaping. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;design and analysis of Architecture and Urban Planning, working mainly on the following topics: architectural design, public facilities, urban design, infrastructure architecture, urban mobility, public space and metropolis.
