He is currently a direct Ph.D. student with a FAPESP scholarship in the Nanosciences and Advanced Materials program at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He holds a degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where he conducted research on nanomaterials for biomedical applications, focusing on photodynamic therapy, during his undergraduate research project, also supported by FAPESP. Throughout his academic journey, he has completed two international research internships. In Canada, at the University of Victoria, he investigated the impact of supramolecular structures on the photophysics and photochemistry of dyes, employing the laser flash photolysis technique to detect transient species. In Spain, at CINBIO, University of Vigo, he joined Professor Luis Liz-Marzán's research group, where he deepened his knowledge of the synthesis and ligand exchange of chiral gold nanorods. With experience in supramolecular chemistry, nanotechnology, and spectroscopy, his work integrates innovation and interdisciplinarity, exploring new pathways in the interaction between nanostructured materials and photochemical processes.
