Biomedical (CRBM 1st 56948) with qualification in Clinical Analysis, graduated from the Federal University of Piauí with experience in research focusing on health. Since 2014, as a scientific initiation student, he has been involved in human and medical genetics work, developing molecular biology techniques. During his undergraduate studies, he improved his skills in techniques for extracting genetic material from biological samples, SNP analysis, conventional PCR and PCR-RFLP. In 2017, he started postgraduate studies at Universidade Estadual Paulista, during the academic Master's degree in Biotechnology (IBB/UNESP 2019) he developed skills with adherent, primary and immortalized cell cultures, and also developed expertise in the area of molecular biology, this time using with Real Time PCR technique. Still in 2019, continuing his career in academic research, he entered his PhD (IBB/UNESP 2023) with work evaluating the effect of a high glucose medium enriched with Biomaterial made with titanium covered with nanohydroxyapatite. At the same time, he was involved in laboratory work evaluating the cell viability of pre-osteoblasts in scaffolds made with chitosan nanotubes and hydroxyapatite, in addition to cell survival tests in constructs made with alginate. During the 7 years of postgraduate studies, he developed several studies in parallel focusing on biological tests of biomaterials in direct or indirect contact, in cells of human and animal origin. Most studies involve biomaterials made with different metal alloys such as titanium, with different surface treatments, cobalt-chromium, among others. These studies are reflected in several publications in high-impact journals over the years. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
