Giuliana Isabella is a professor at Insper. She holds a PhD with Honors in Science Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing, from the School of Business Administration and Economics at the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP). She completed one year of her doctoral studies at Temple University in Philadelphia, at the Center for Neural Decision Making (CNDM). She earned a Masters degree with Honors in Science Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from the São Paulo School of Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP/FGV). She completed one semester of her Masters program at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University (USA). She is a researcher in consumer behavior, decision-making, facial expressions, sensory marketing, and neuroscience applied to marketing. More recently, she has been studying the influence of artificial intelligence and chatbots on consumers. She is a member of Inspers Analytical Marketing research group. She has served as a reviewer for international journals (e.g., JBR, JCB, JBE, JGEMBR, JSRR), national journals (e.g., RAC, RAUSP, RAE, REMARK, REA), and academic conferences (e.g., ACR, AMA, BALAS, CLAV, EMA, EMAC, EnANPAD). She is currently an associate editor at RAE and RAC, and also serves as a reviewer for FAPESP. She participates in national and international research networks in the field of consumer behavior.
