Edesio is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. He received his BSc degree in Computer Science in 2018 also by USP. From 2016 to 2017, he was an exchange student at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC-TEC), University of Porto, Portugal, where he had his first contact and started researching AutoML.
