He is a Lecturer at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo and a postgraduate professor in Humanities, Rights and Other Legitimacy at FFLCH - USP, where he carries out teaching and research activities in the areas of Audiovisual, Hypermedia and Production. Knowledge Sharing. He holds a Doctorate of Science from the F.F.L.C.H. from the University of São Paulo and post-doctorate in Communication and Semiotics from PUC SP. Between August 2013 and April 2014 he was a Visiting Professor at Stanford University-California. He has experience in the areas of Human Sciences and Applied Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Communication, Semiotics, History of Culture, Psychoanalysis of Culture, Visual Anthropology and Hypermedia. He is the leader of CEDIPP-Center for Digital Communication and Shared Research. He has published the following books: Hipermídia (2011), Imagenes de la Cultura and Cultura de las Imagenes (2007), Visual Anthropology and Hipermedia (2007), Interdisciplinarity (2002), Psychoanalysis and History of Culture (2001), Sound Textures (2005) , among others. He also created and produced several films and hypermedia. Between 2019 and 2022 he was coordinator of the Diversitas-Nucleus for Research in Diversity, Intolerance and Conflicts-USP (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
