He graduated in Industrial Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of Lorena (FAENQUIL) in 2003, completed his doctorate in 2008 (with the support of a FAPESP scholarship) in Industrial Biotechnology from the same university. In 2010, he completed a post-doctorate (with the support of a CAPES scholarship). He is Professor Doctor MS3.2 at the School of Engineering of Lorena (EEL) of the University of São Paulo (USP) working in the Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQUI). Works with research in the area of #8203;#8203;Mass and Energy Balance in Chemical Processes and Pre-Treatments in Lignocellulosic Materials, having at DEEQUI a partnership with the Laboratory of Separation Processes by Membranes (LASEP). She has didactic experience at secondary and professional levels, undergraduate and graduate levels. At graduation, he teaches classes in Mass and Energy Balance, Special Projects in Engineering, Integrating Project in Chemical Engineering I, Industrial Chemical Processes I and II and at the Colégio Técnico de Lorena (COTEL) classes in Physics Chemistry II. She is currently Director of COTEL, Vice President of the Graduation Commission (CG) and the Inclusion and Belonging Commission (CIP). He has worked in the area of #8203;#8203;improvements in higher education using active methodologies, more specifically working with Project-Based Learning in the disciplines Special Projects in Engineering and Integrative Project in Chemical Engineering I and II. He is a representative of the CDIO initiative at EEL-USP and is part of the Commission for Innovation in Education (CIE) at EEL-USP, which proposes concrete actions to update courses in view of the new engineering guidelines.
