He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Applied Sciences (FCA) at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology at the University of Utah (USA). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP), a Master's degree in Physical Education from the Faculty of Physical Education (FEF) at UNICAMP, and a PhD in Physical Education from FEF/UNICAMP, with a sandwich-doctorate period at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). Additionally, he completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Physical Education at FEF/UNICAMP. His research interests include: Exercise Physiology, Physical Activity and Health, and Sports Training. He has worked as a professor/researcher on topics such as Combined Training, Exercise Immunology, Inflammation, Immunosenescence, Obesity, Aging, Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, and Physical Fitness.
