Birthplace: Brazil

Ph.D. candidate in Physics at the Federal University of ABC, with research experience in quantum computing, quantum optics, and quantum metrology, focusing on optical systems under noise. Since the undergraduate studies, the research has focused on the quantum features of single-photon interference, particularly in the context of Boson Sampling. The work includes the study of noise effects in quantum interference, covering photon distinguishability and photon loss. During the Ph.D., the studies were expanded to the phase-space formalism of the quantum optics, including the investigation of Gaussian state interference and the modelling of partial distinguishability effects in the Gaussian Boson Sampling scheme. Recently, research was conducted as a visiting researcher at the University of Warsaw, focused on quantum metrology applied to optical interferometry. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
