Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), with MBAs in Agribusiness and Marketing from USP/ESALQ. Masters degree in Agricultural Microbiology from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and Ph.D. in Sciences from USP/ESALQ. Completed postdoctoral research at Embrapa Meio Ambiente (Jaguariúna-SP) and served as an Associate Researcher at the University of Guelph (Canada), working in molecular taxonomy and the development of biological inputs for crops such as tomato and ginseng.Served as Director of the Technical Environmental Department at the Department of Environment of Sertãozinho-SP, where he coordinated projects related to ESG agendas, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the Global Compact. He managed public policies on solid waste, environmental education, and environmental licensing. He was also the liaison for the state program "Município VerdeAzul" and served on the Municipal Environment Council (COMDEMA) and the Urban and Rural Development Committee.For seven years, he worked as an academic advisor for PECEGE/USP-ESALQ in MBA programs in Agribusiness and Project Management, with a focus on Biological Control, Bioinputs, Sustainability, and the Environment. He supervised MBA students and participated in over 50 thesis defense boards.In the private sector, he worked as a Researcher in Agricultural Microbiology at Biogen and Greenbac, leading RD projects for the development of bioinputs (biopesticides, biofertilizers, and biostimulants) for crops such as soybean, corn, sugarcane, and coffee. He also conducted technical training for commercial teams and participated in field validation trials.He is currently the CTO of AlgasBio Biotecnologia (www.greenbac.com.br), a company that develops biotechnological solutions based on microalgae, bacteria, fungi, and seaweed for regenerative agriculture, animal nutrition, wastewater treatment, and natural feed additives. AlgasBio applies principles of microbial ecology along with advances in microbiology, biotechnology, and nanotechnology to deliver high-performance and environmentally sound products.He also teaches the courses Applied Agricultural Microbiology and Market and Bioinput Technologies in the Graduate Program in Plant Physiology and Protection at FAESA, contributing to the education of professionals aligned with the latest trends in sustainable agriculture and biotechnology.
