Graduated in Biological Sciences (2003) and Master in Genetics and Breeding from the State University of Maringá (2005). PhD in Microbiology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB) of the University of São Paulo - USP (2010). Doctoral intern at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, USA (2010). Post Doctorate at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo and at the Brain Institute at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo. Area of #8203;#8203;expertise: Genetics and Microbiology, with emphasis on Molecular and Microorganism Genetics; Microbiological control; Biotechnology of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Mitochondrial Biogenesis and Cell Viability; Reactive Oxygen Species, Mycotoxins and Microbial Bioprospecting with application in the area of #8203;#8203;medical and industrial biotechnology. He currently holds the position of effective professor of higher education - Associate Level II at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). He works as a permanent professor in the Specialization Course in Molecular Biology and also in the Graduate Program (Master's) in Chemical and Biotechnological Processes (PPGQB) at the same institution.
