During her PhD, she completed an internship at the Max-Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology (Central Metabolism Group) in Potsdam, Germany. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Umeå University (Umeå Plant Science Centre) in Umeå, Sweden. Her research focuses on plant physiology, with an emphasis on photosynthesis.
