Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidade do Sagrado Coração (USC). Master in Architecture and Urbanism from the Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação (FAAC) of the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) in the line of Theory, History and Design (grant 2017/10302-5 Sao Paulo Research Foundation FAPESP). During the master's degree, conducted a research internship with support from FAPESP at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture, Paris-France, under the supervision of prof. Dr. Karen Bowie (grant 2018/01711-1 São Paulo Research Foundation FAPESP). Currently, is a PhD student in History at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), studing the nineteenth century and is interested in researching the following areas: industrial and railway architecture; engineering history and rail treaties, especially european production. Taina M. Silva is also a collaborator from Memory Railway project (grant 2016/15921-2 Sao Paulo Research Foundation FAPESP), coordinated by prof. Dr. Eduardo Romero de Oliveira.
