Estevão Fuzaro de Almeida

He has a B.S.E. and a M.S.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira, São Paulo State University (FEIS/UNESP), and is currently a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. He conducted an international research internship funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, USA in the area of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), in which he participated in the planning and assembly of an experimental wind turbine gear system for SHM studies. He developed a research project funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the area of Optimal Control of a Non-Ideal Vibration Energy Harvesting System aiming to maximize the energy generated between 2017 and 2020. In his M.S.E. degree, with CAPES-DS funding, he studied the so-called Artificial Immune Systems via Negative Selection Algorithm to investigate the presence of delamination damage in composite material plates with ambient temperature variation. He has experience in the areas of Linear and Nonlinear Dynamics, Control of Mechanical Systems and in Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis using Intelligent Computing. The focus of his PhD, with FAPESP's financial support, intends to obtain Digital Twins for Structural Health Monitoring in Bolted Joints using Physics Informed Neural Networks.
