Physiotherapist. Research Fellow at the University of Exeter (UK). Supervisor and Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Bioengineering at Universidade Brasil and Master's and PhD advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Medicine (Cardiology) at UNIFESP. Completed postdoctoral fellowships at Oxford/UK (2018) and at the Rehabilitation Sciences Program at the School of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP), with a PNPD-CAPES scholarship in 2019, focusing on motor and autonomic performance analysis of children and adolescents with Cerebral Palsy undergoing combined therapy with virtual reality and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). Former co-founder of a Rehabilitation and Neuromodulation Clinic and a startup focused on developing games for physical activity/rehabilitation for children and adolescents with different health conditions, which received funding through the FAPESP PIPE (Innovative Research in Small Businesses) program in 2017. Holds a PhD from UNIFESP (2016), with a one-and-a-half-year sandwich PhD at the Harvard University School of Public Health Boston/USA (20142015), and a technical visit to Vrije University Amsterdam/Netherlands (2013). Researcher at the Research and Technological Application Group in Rehabilitation (PATER-USP). Actively involved in the organization and implementation of the extension project Physical Activity and Adapted Sports for People with Disabilities at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities (EACH/USP 2011 to present). Main areas of expertise: development and application of technology (Virtual Reality) for health promotion, Telerehabilitation, Cardiac Autonomic Modulation, Motor Learning, PBL methodology, Biostatistics, ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health), assessment and follow-up scales, and Physiotherapy in the context of child and adolescent healthcare.
