Adjunct Professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), where she works in the undergraduate course in Communication - Advertising and Propaganda, in the Postgraduate Program in Metaphysics (PPG ) and from 2022, in the Postgraduate Program in Communication. PhD (2010) in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (FAPESP Grant) with a 1-year sandwich period (CAPES Grant) at the Peirce Edition Project (Indianapolis, USA). Master (2005) in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (CNPq Grant), Bachelor (2002) in Social Communication from the University of Brasilia. Postdoctoral license (Jul 2021-Jul 2022) in the Postgraduate Program in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design (TIDD) PUC-SP. She has been vice-leader of the CIEP-International Center for Peircean Studies since 2010 (CNPq), and she is a member of the Brazilian Research Network in Peircean Semiotics. She served as vice-secretary general of the Board of the International Association for Semiotic Studies (IASS-AIS) from 2009 to 2019, and she was a member of the executive board as an elected member of the Semiotic Society of America (SSA) from 2018 to 2021, since 2021 I have been a member of the editorial board from the American Journal of Semiotics. She works in the areas of Communication and Philosophy, with an emphasis on C. S. Peirce's Semiotics, sign class systems and visual language. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
