Cecilia Leach Pimentel

Has successfully concluded the Master´s program at the Dept. of Psychology of Education and Growth at the Institute of Psychology (PSA) at the University of São Paulo (USP) with Marie Claire Sekkel as supervisor, with a dissertation named, "Equine Assisted Therapy and its importance in the construction of an autistic child´s body image- a case study." Received a grant from the CNPQ program. Participates in the research group leaded by Maria Cristina Machado Kupfer "Treatment and education in times of autism" of the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo, in Brazil, since 2015. Received a grant 2017/18423-6, from Fapesp to work in the research "Validation and comparison of instruments to follow psychological development in the view of Psychoanalysis" within the leadership of Maria Cristina Machado Kupfer. Psychology BA from Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (2013). Has experience in clinical Psychology, having worked at Psicoblue from 2013 to 2015. Has focused on people with special needs in clinical psychology and also with therapeutic riding. Participated in scientific research in 2010 with a partnership between Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas and Instituto do Coração, INCOR, of the Hospital das Clínicas and presented the study named "Feelings, Rights and Duties of Mothers of Children with Congenital Heart Disease during hospitalization at the X Conic Semesp which was held at Mackenzie University, in 2010. Graduated from High School at Chapel School, was chosen member of the 073152 chapter of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools, in March, 2000.
