Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP), with a Masters in Science in the Agricultural Microbiology program (ESALQ/USP) and a Ph.D. in Biology in Agriculture and Environment from the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA/USP).During my Ph.D., I completed a sandwich doctoral fellowship at the University of Helsinki (Finland), funded by the PRINT-CAPES program. My academic career has been centered in Biological Sciences, with a strong focus on Bioinformatics applied to eukaryote and prokaryote genomics, spanning areas such as metagenomics, phylogenetics, and metabolomics.As a postdoctoral researcher at the Ribeirão Preto School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (USP), I worked on multidisciplinary projects involving multi-omics approaches, with an emphasis on fungal genomics.Currently, I am an Assistant Professor (Professor Doutor) at the Ribeirão Preto Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters (FFCLRP/USP), where I teach and conduct research in genomics and bioinformatics.
