PhD in pharmacology at Institute of Biomedical Sciences at University of São Paulo. Member of the Nano-drugs and Release Systems Laboratory. Master of Science (Pharmacology) from ICB - USP (2016). Graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Cuiabá (2007), where worked with development and characterization of multiple emulsions based on pequi and babassu oil. The master's project focused on the development and characterization of multifunctional nanocarreadores for the cutaneous co-localization of chemotherapeutic agents aiming the localized treatment of skin tumors. The project in progress aims at the development of nanostructured formulations that promote the localization of chemotherapeutic agents in the breast and the efficacy assessment through in vivo and in vitro experimental models. Visitor scholar at University of California Davis (2019) working on the the development and characterization of Thermosensitive polymeric nanoparticles for drug co-encapsulation and intraductal delivery into the mammary tissue (under supervision of Professor Dr. Alyssa Panitch).
