Marianne Yang Yu

Medical student at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP).In 2014, she developed a project of Iniciação à Prática de Ciências( IPC) about " How the bone marrow regulates the eosinophilic migration in an asthmatic and obese individual", under the guidance of Edson Antunes, who is a full professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNICAMP. The project was also presented in the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNICAMP.In 2015, she concluded the course Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (PPCR) focused on the formation of clinical researchers worldwide and organized by the Harvard School of Public Health. Is an co-author oh the article "Effect of 12-week dark chocolate intake combined with low energy diet and exercise on weight loss in obese adults: a phase II randomized controlled trial protocol", published by the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research Journal.In the same year, she participated in the III Neuroscience Academic Congress, in São Paulo with duration of six hours. Member of the Neuroscience Academic League since 2015 and coordinator of the same league since 2017.Also in 2015, she passed in the Intensive Course on Vaccines and Immunity to Infection, developed by the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center , with workload of 16 hours.Since 2016, she develops a research mentorship denominate "Minimally invasive urodynamics: study of the efficacy and safety of a new model",under the guidance of Carlos Levi D'Ancona, full professor of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. On December of the same yearshe interned as an observer in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Sírio Libânes, for the the total of 80 hours.Certified by the Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE), most advanced English exam of the University of Cambridge.
