Felipe Castilho de Lacerda is undergraduate on History by the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he has also achieved his master?s degree with a dissertation on the reception of communism in Brazil in the 1920?. His dissertation was published in Brazil under the title Octávio Brandão e as Matrizes Intelectuais do Marxismo no Brasil [Octavio Brandao and the Intellectual Matrices of Communism in Brazil] (Ateliê Editorial, 2020). He is also the translator to Portuguese of Nikolai Kondratiev, As Ondas Longas da Conjuntura [Long Waves of Conjuncure] (Com-Arte, 2018). At the same University of Sao Paulo he has began his PhD studies in the second semester 2017 with a thesis project on to the reception of Latin American Left in Europe in the context of the 1960? and 1970? through Trikont Verlag (Germany) and Maspero (France) editorial history. As part of his PhD research, he has spent the first semester of 2018 in Berlin with a scholarship as Invited Researcher at the Ibero-American Institute Berlin. During the year 2020 he is part of Lateinamerika-Studien at the Universität Hamburg. His main interests are political, cultural, intellectual and publishing history.
