Bachelor?s at Biological Sciences from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2005-2008), master?s at Cellular and Molecular Biology - PPGBCM from UFRGS (2009-2011), PhD at Medicine Graduate Program: Medical Sciences - PPGCM from UFRGS (2012-2016), and sandwich PhD at Institute of Inflammation and Ageing at Queen Elisabeth Hospital by University of Birmingham (2015) by the Science without Borders program. My first job was a post-doc fellowship from FAPESP at Faculty of Farmaceutical Sciences at Ribeirão Preto from University of São Paulo - USP (2017-2019). Recently, I am working as a Researcher Schoolar at University of California, San Diego, working with research by the Veterans Medical Research Foundation at the VA Hospital of San Diego (2019-ongoing). Has expertise in biophysics, biochemistry and molecular biology, focusing on: osteoarthrite, rheumatoid arthritis, muscle tissue, imune and autoimune response, metabolomics, O-GlucNacilation, oxidative stress, aging, reproduction, Candida pathogenic species, steroid hormones, and metabolism. Received a prize related to the best five published papers, during the years of 2010 and 2012, from PPGBCM. Also won the "People Choice Awar: Coolest Poster" at "Skeletal Muscle Satellite and Stem Cells" organized by FASEB (2014). Has English fluency, good German knowledge and basic Italian and Spanish knowledge. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
