I am a postdoctoral fellow in History at the Freie Universität Berlin with funding from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. I worked as a researcher at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, on the project Core Concepts of Historical Thinking, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science, FNP. I have completed a post-doctoral internship at the Universidade de São Paulo, Department of History. I hold a Ph.D. in History by Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2017), a master in History of Sciences by Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2011) and graduated in History by Universidade Federal Fluminense (2008). Ibero-Americanisches Institute in Berlin, the State University of New York and the Casa de Oswaldo Cruz, FIOCRUZ. I have experience in the area of History of Concepts and History of Republican Brazil, mainly in the following topics: politics of knowledge and geographical imagination in Brazil; history of Brazilian historiography; history of women geographers; institutionalization and professionalization of geography as a scientific field; history of History and Geography teaching, and history of Universities in Brazil.
