David Guimaraes Monteiro Franca

Master in Remote Sensing at the National Institute for Space Reseach in the city of São Jose dos Campos, state of São Paulo. Graduated in I.T. from the Technology School of Guaratinguetá (2012) and has a technical education degree in Business Management (2008). In his master's degree he studies mainly urban areas through high spatial resolution images (WorldView-2 and alike), with focus on the following topics: image segmentation, data mining algorithms, big data, geographic object-based image analysis (GEOBIA and OBIA), decision trees, non-parametric image classification methods and statistical validation.
