Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Dentistry from the School of Dentistry of Araraquara - UNESP. I was a FAPESP (1) Scientific Initiation fellow at the Department of Physiology and Pathology at the School of Dentistry of Araraquara. I also received a FAPESP (2) fellowship at the Department of Dental Materials and Prosthetics in the Discipline of Occlusion and Temporomandibular Disorders.I have experience in scientific research, particularly in biomaterials, tissue engineering, applied microbiology, and antimicrobial photodynamic therapy. During my undergraduate studies, I worked on projects focused on the regeneration of the dentin-pulp complex and the study of calcium-chitosan scaffolds (1), as well as exploring the antifungal effects of Pelargonium sidoides against Candida albicans. In another study, I investigated the association between oral parafunctional habits and headache in patients with painful temporomandibular disorders (2). I have also served as a member of academic committees and student representative bodies, including the Congregation of the School of Dentistry and the Biosafety Committee. I have participated in the organization of dental congresses and presented scientific papers at national conferences. Additionally, I have complementary training in systematic reviews, ergonomics, and statistical methods. My research interests include translational research, biomaterials, innovation in regenerative therapies, antimicrobial photodynamic therapy, and reproducibility.
