Graduated in electrical engineering from Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianópolis, SC, Brazil, in 1994, M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), Joinville, SC, Brazil, in 2010, and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, SP, Brazil, in 2016. From 1994 to 2011 I was an electrical engineer and senior researcher at the Whirlpool Compressor Unit (EMBRACO), Joinville, SC, Brazil. Since 2014, I have been a Professor at Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), São Paulo, SP, Brazil. I have experience in the development of electronic drives for motor, software for embedded systems, simulation and control of electrical machines, product approvals in international institutes UL/VDE (UL/IEC 60730) and technical assistance to customers.
