Birthplace: Brazil

Master in Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering from the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering, PPGEC, of #8203;#8203;the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (POLI-USP), with the title of the dissertation "Analysis via Hydraulic Modeling of the impact of the type of drainage medium adopted and the position of the water table on the quantitative efficiency of NbS-LID systems". The Hydrus-1D software was used in the study, with the objective of obtaining results that could guide the quantitative efficiency analyses of filtering drainage systems, such as bioretention, within the scope of Nature-Based Solutions, NbS.Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC-USP), with a Final Course Work on the theme of universalization, in terms of Brazil, of access to Basic Sanitation - within the scope of access to water and sewage services - and the application of efficiency indicators in Water Treatment Plants, ETA, and Sewage, ETE. Received three awards at the graduation ceremony for the academic performance presented throughout the five years of graduation: CREA-SP Award for professional training (2019); Institute of Engineering Award (2019); Lavoisier Award (2019).Scientific initiation scholarship holder from 2016 to 2017, through the Unified USP Scholarship Program, and from 2018 to 2019 with a Fapesp scholarship, being supervised in both by Prof. Dr. Eduardo Mario Mendiondo (SHS-EESC-USP). The projects developed were based on the following themes: - Sustainable Urban Drainage; - Compensatory Urban Drainage Techniques; - Treatment and Reuse of Rainwater; - Ecosystem-Based Adaptation; - Payment for Environmental Services; - Climate Change and its Impacts on Drainage; - Integrated Water Resources Management within Urban Basins; - Water Security, within the scope of NEXO: Water, Energy and Food.Received the Entrepreneurship Grant from AUCANI-USP, developing research into filter media and rainwater treatment for two months in France, at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes.Completed his mandatory internship at the Center for Research and Extension in Sustainability and Sanitation, carrying out a research project with field visits to municipalities and their sanitation structures, focusing on ETAs and ETEs in operation, under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Dr. Tadeu Fabrício Malheiros (SHS-EESC-USP).Participated in writing the chapter entitled "Voluntary information in the production of scientific knowledge and disaster management", of the book "Risks and disasters: paths to sustainable development", organized by Hugo Tsugunobu Yoshida Yoshizaki, Carlos Augusto Morales Rodriguez and Larissa Ciccotti.
