Sociedade Beneficente de Senhoras (SBSHSL). Hospital Sírio-Libanês  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in computational biology at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where I develop data analyses from high-complexity imaging and other omics data. At this stage, the goal is to elucidate mechanisms of genetic variation relevant to metabolic diseases. I earned my Ph.D. in Sciences through the Interunit Graduate Program in Bioinformatics at the University of São Paulo, in association with the graduate program at Hospital Sírio-Libanês, with research focused on the molecular mechanisms of cancer. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Biomolecular Sciences from the University of São Paulo, including a study abroad program at the University of Melbourne Australia, through the Science Without Borders initiative.
