Verônica holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy from the Master's and Ph.D. Program in Physiotherapy at the University City of São Paulo (UNICID), completed from 2019 to 2023. She graduated in Physiotherapy from the University City of São Paulo (UNICID), benefiting from the University for All Program (PROUNI) from 2015 to 2018, and received Academic Laureate with honors. During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded research scholarships from PIBIC/UNICID and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) from 2017 to 2018 (Process 2017/26716-3). During her Ph.D., she gained international experience through a sandwich Ph.D. program at The University of Sydney, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) (Process 2022/07870-0). In recognition of his doctorate, he received the 2024 Capes Thesis Award in the area of #8203;#8203;physical education, physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. She has expertise in conducting observational studies, systematic reviews, and measurement property studies, encompassing data collection, management, team management, analysis, and publication. Currently, she is doing a postdoctoral program at the McMaster University with the project of implementation of a program for individuals with low back pain "Back to Living Well Program" (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12891-024-07712-7) and she is also a volunteer at the PEDro database, contributing to the updating of clinical practice guidelines. Throughout her academic journey, she has been recognized with two awards for her research: at the IV International Congress of Spinal Physiotherapy and at the 2023 International Back and Neck Pain Forum.
