Received his PhD from the Computer Science from University of Kent at Canterbury (1990). His interests include Cloud Computing, Linux Data Plane, Time Sensitive Networks, Security, OpenRAN, IoT and Human Robot Interaction. Dr. Djamel F. H. Sadok is a full professor of computer networks at the computing centre of the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. I obtained by PhD from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK) in 1990. After a short passage in industry I joined UCL as a research fellow where I worked with protocol security for two years prior to moving to UFPE in 1992 as a lecturer. I have supervised more than 70 master and 15 PhD research students. Currently I am also a researcher (level 1C) for the Brazilian research agency CNPq. I lead a research group in the area of computer networks and telecommunications (see www.gprt.ufpe.br). Professor Sadok published more than 350 scientific publications and 11 international industrial patents. Throughout my career I sought to maintain strong links with the Industry through a number of joint research and development projects. I also worked hard to establish a number of international partnership projects, especially with Europe. I coordinated three EU-Brazil consortia as part of the FP7 research program cooperation with CNPq. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
