He holds a degree in Physics from the State University of Ponta Grossa (2010), a master's degree (2013) and a PhD (2016) in Sciences from the same institution, with a sandwich period at the University of Aberdeen (UK). He did postdoctoral studies at the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (2016-2017), at the Center for Mathematics, Computation and Cognition of the Federal University of ABC (2017-2021) and at The State University of New York: Downstate Health Sciences University (2021-2023). He currently works as a Research Scientist Consultant at The State University of New York, a Collaborating Researcher at the Federal University of ABC and a Collaborating Postdoctoral Fellow at the State University of Ponta Grossa. He has experience in the areas of Physics and Neuroscience, with an emphasis on Biophysics, working mainly on the following themes: dynamical systems, population dynamics and neural networks. Investigates neural network models with research focused mainly on neuronal synchronization, synaptic plasticity and epilepsy models (in silico, in vivo and in vitro), also investigates full-scale brain micro-circuit models and electromagnetic stimulations in the brain for disease treatment.
