Birthplace: Brazil

Dr. Patrick Rodrigues Batista is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. He received his Ph.D. in Science from the University of São Paulo (2022), M.Sc. in Physical Organic Chemistry (2017), and B.Sc. in Chemistry (2014) from the Federal University of Technology Paraná. He conducted a postdoctoral fellowship at the Mulliken Center for Theoretical Chemistry, University of Bonn, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Barbara Kirchner. His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, with emphasis on molecular structure, dynamics, and reactivity studied through ab initio and classical molecular dynamics combined with density functional theory. His work involves solvent effects, reaction mechanisms, NMR spectroscopic properties, and relativistic effects in transition-metal complexes. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
