Bachelor in History from the University of São Paulo (2010) and a Master in History of Ideas from Birkbeck College, University of London (2016). PhD in Social History from the University of São Paulo (2022), with an internship abroad at Lancaster University and King's College London (2019/2020). During his doctorate he dedicated himself to the study of the concept of citizenship in British Conservative governments, analyzing how the New Right (neoliberal and neoconservative) transformed the meaning of citizenship and civil society, rights and duties, and the role of the State. Currently he is researching the ideological relations between neoliberalism and the rise of the Brazilian and British far-right. He is a fellow at the Department of Political Science at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) with a Fapesp scholarship. He worked as a visiting researcher at the Center of Latin American Studies at the University of Cambridge (ING) and is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute of Latin American Studies at Columbia University (USA). He is part of the international research network Rights, History and Memory and is a member of the Conservatism Studies Group of the Political Studies Association. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
