Jonathan Eliã de Almeida Nunes

Bachelors degree in Languages and Literature (Portuguese/English) from the Faculty of Sciences and Letters at Assis (FCLAs/UNESP). He was a member of GED Discursive Studies Group, coordinated by Professor Dr. Luciane de Paula. Under her supervision, he conducted a research project titled "The Dialogic Constitution of Frankenstein in Penny Dreadful: Reframings of Human Ambivalence in Penny Dreadful," funded by FAPESP (grant no. 2017/27202-3). He worked as an English language instructor for the UNATI Open University for the Third Age program, as well as for the institutional program CLDP Center for Languages and Teacher Development, teaching Basic I and Intermediate I levels. He holds a Masters degree in Modern Languages and Literary Criticism, with a dissertation entitled "The Villains Journey," under the supervision of Professor Dr. Aparecido Donizete Rossi. He is a member of the Research Group on Fantastic Literature Studies (Vertentes do Fantástico) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Literary Theory and Criticism, also under the supervision of Professor Dr. Aparecido Donizete Rossi.
