Physicist, expert in data science and time series analysis. Specialist in Artificial Intelligence at Samsung RD Institute Brazil. Previously was a Fapesp TT-V Data Scientist at the Brazilian Center for Applied Research in Early Childhood at Insper. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in complex systems applied to animal epidemiology at North Carolina State University, United States. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship at CEPID NeuroMat at the Institute of Computing at Unicamp on identifying dynamic brain connections through the application of dynamic/complex systems methods to EEG signals. Holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom, where applied information theory to signal analysis in seismology and gravimetry. Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), where collaborated with the optimization of a laser source for a Magneto-Optical Calcium Trap (GLA/IFGW/Unicamp, 2014) and, during an exchange program, with the development of a gravitational sensor based on cold atoms (University of Aberdeen, 2013). Previously was a volunteer researcher at the Laboratory for Social Studies and Research in Disasters (NEPED) at UFSCar from 2010 to 2023, analyzing official disaster records and collaborating in the collection of field and documentary data in Brazil and abroad.
