Pamela Pinheiro Martins

I graduated in Biomedicine from the Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP) in 2018. I received a FAPESP scholarship during my scientific initiation at the Neurogenetics laboratory of the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), with the project entitled Analysis of the distribution and protein levels of EZH2 in the hippocampus of rats after neonatal anoxia. I have professional qualifications in clinical analysis/clinical pathology and molecular biology. I completed a one-year fellowship in clinical pathology at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de São Paulo (HCFMUSP) in 2019. I recently completed my master's degree in the Postgraduate Program in Biosystems at UFABC, with the work entitled Impact of neonatal two-hit on immunological changes in the brain-intestine axis in C57BL/6 mice. I'm currently studying for my PhD in the Biosystems Postgraduate Program at UFABC and I'm working on a project entitled Role of the NLRP3 inflammasome in neuronal and intestinal damage resulting from maternal immune activation and perinatal asphyxia in mice.
