Thiago Bueno da Silva received a 5-year B.S. degree in Control and Automation Engineering (12/2017) from Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações, Brazil, Certified Profibus Engineer and Installer by Profibus International (2017), Technology Management Certificate (2016) from University of California, Santa Barbara, United States of America, and a Electronics Technician degree (12/2012) from Escola Técnica de Eletrônica "Francisco Moreira da Costa," Brazil. He has studied at UCSB due to the program Science without Borders, sponsored by CAPES. Currently, he is enrolled as a Master's and MBA's student at Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações, Brazil, acts as a Teacher Assistant in the class of "Computer Architectures II" (EC208) in the Computer Engineering course in the Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações and develops research in the Information and Communication Technologies Laboratory (ICT Lab) in the Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações. His fields of interest are Future Internet, Industry 4.0, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Cloud Computing, Cyber-Physical Systemas, Embedded Systemas, Computer Networks, and Industrial Networks. He has experience in the fields of Embedded Systems, developing in the TI's MSP430, ARM's Cortex M0+, and Freescale's S08 architectures, Hardware, R&D, and Industrial Networks, acting professionally at Embraer Aircraft Holding, Fort Lauderdale, at Profibus Competence Center - Inatel, Brazil, at and at Biotron Medical Equipments, Brazil, as well as academically at Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações, Brazil.
