Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovação (Brasil). Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

My academic formation began at the Federal University of Ceará, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 2008. In pursuit of further knowledge, I continued my studies at the same university and completed my master's degree in Rural Economics in 2011, focusing on Public Policy and Sustainable Rural Development. Later, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into studies of the Earth System, achieving a doctorate from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), with research oriented towards Modeling Land Use and Land Cover Change.Throughout my academic journey, I had the chance to collaborate on significant projects, such as at the National Institute of Science and Technology for Salinity (INCTSal/CNPq), where I was able to learn and apply techniques in spectroradiometry and remote sensing. At CEMADEN, I contributed to research and technological advancement in the area of natural disaster monitoring. At FUNCATE, working with the CCST/INPE, I participated in initiatives aimed at geoprocessing and environmental modeling. I also had the experience of working with Fundep, assisting in the application and improvement of the INPE-EM system, focusing on emission estimates for the Cerrado biome. Currently, I am involved in a project funded by FAPESP, which aims to develop a computational model for land use analysis. This effort seeks to contribute to the Nexus Project, aiming to quantify scenarios and generate useful indicators at different scales. This work is a valuable opportunity to apply the knowledge I have accumulated, and I hope that it can provide an effective contribution to environmental and territorial management in a sustainable way.
