Fernanda Farinelli

Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Information Science at the University of Brasília (UnB). Holds a Ph.D. in Knowledge Management and Organization from UFMG, with a sandwich period at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and postdoctoral training at UNESP and UFMG. Holds a Master's in Administration from Faculdade Pedro Leopoldo, a specialization in Database Management from UniBH, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PUC Minas.Has over 15 years of experience in data management, working in data administration and governance in both public and private companies. As an educator, has taught for about 20 years in undergraduate and graduate programs at private educational institutions in the state of Minas Gerais and currently teaches at UnB. Responsible for the OntONeo Project, an ontology for the obstetric and neonatal domain.Research areas include applied ontology, information representation, and data analysis. Participates in research projects, has several publications, and presents at conferences. Additionally, serves as a reviewer and member of editorial committees.
