Leonardo Lameiras is a Professor in International Relations at the University of the Federal District (UnDF) and holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of São Paulo (USP) and King's College London (KCL). He has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio; 2008), having also attended the undergraduate program at University of Maastricht (the Netherlands; 2007). He has completed a MBA on Foreign Trade and International Business at FGV-Rio (2014), and he holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia (UnB; 2017), institution where he studied as a CNPq fellow. Furthermore, his PhD research was financed by FAPESP, and he is currently conducting research on USA and China bilateral trade agreements and their implications for the global trade governance. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as Deputy Chief at the Secretariat of the Brazilian Governors Forum. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
