Researcher at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (Sirius-LNLS) from the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), being part of the CARNAUBA (Coherent X-ray Nanoprobe Beamline) group. With academic background in Medical Physics (2008) and Physics (2012), Master (2010) and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2014) by the Federal University of Sergipe, with sandwich period at the Canadian Light Source (CLS, Canada), my current research topic is in Condensed Matter Physics with emphasis on spectroscopy, optical properties, development of nanomaterials, scientific instrumentation, X-ray absorption, X-ray excited optical luminescence (XEOL), scintillators, and radiation detection.I am specialist in Education (2011) by the Faculty São Luís de França, and a member of the committees: CNPEM Summer Program (PBV) and Sirius School for Teachers from the Highschool (ESPEM).
