PhD student at the Zoology Department of the Biosciences Institute, University of São Paulo (Brazil). Master's degree obtained at the same Institute, with a internship period at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago USA. My main projects are focused on systematics and morphology of beetles, mainly within the Leiodidae family. I have experience in the field of Entomology, particularly in the Systematics and compared morphology of Coleoptera, with a focus on the Leiodidae family. I am currently working on different comparative techniques for the analysis of fine morphology, specially the study of neglected characters as tools for the recognition and differentiation between cryptic species.
