I have a B.S. degree in Biotechnology from Universidade Federal de São Carlos. I am currently a PhD Student in Biomolecular Physics at Instituto de Física de São Carlos - Universidade de São Paulo, working on the structural biochemistry of model organisms (S. cerevisiae and C. elegans) septins at IFSC-USP. I co-founded UFSCar's Synthetic Biology Club and acted as Student Leader of the team Sao_Carlos-Brazil at the 2019 edition of iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine). I also developed an undergraduate research project in Metabolism and Bioenergetics. I have experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, in techniques such as real-time PCR, Gibson assembly, recombinant protein expression, protein chromatography, circular dichroism, and protein crystallography.
