Henrique Albuquerque Fernandes is a Brazilian geologist (2020) and a PhD student in Geology at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Between 2018 and 2020, he developed undergraduate research in the field of sedimentology, with a grant from the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP). Since 2016, he develops works related to the practice and teaching of speleology. Between 2018 and 2021, he worked as a volunteer mathematics teacher in the Preparatory Course at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at the University of São Paulo (FFLCH - USP). In 2020, he was an online internship student at the University of Tsukuba - Japan. In 2021, he iniciated his Ph.D. in the Geochemistry and Geotectonics program at the Geosciences Institute - USP, with a project in the area of isotopic chemostratigraphy (C, Sr, Cr and Cd) funded by FAPESP, and linked to the GRIND (Geological Research through Integrated Neoproterozoic Drilling) project from ICDP (International Continental scientific Drilling Program). In 2023-2024, he did an internship at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, where he performed Sr, Cr and Cd isotope analysis funded by FAPESP (BEPE). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
